Bulgaria has officially joined the list of countries hosting the “White Dinner”.
One of the main traditions of White Dinner worldwide is to keep the location secret until the last hours, Bulgaria did not cheat the rule.
320 people dressed in white met the organizers waiting for them with a bundle of white balloons in hand at four different locations in the center of the capital. Among the guests were noticed people from the media and PR circles, Evgenia Jafferovich with her children.
The event was a lot of fun, music, dancing and amazing aesthetics in every detail from start to finish.
Evlogi Georgiev Boulevard, Sofia Theatre, Eagles Bridge and other locations became a real attraction for all casual passers-by of the large-scale flash mob. of smiling people passing by, dressed in white and carrying candlesticks, baskets of food and vases of flowers, and the cordons gathered at the final point – the Rakovski Military Academy, where the dinner itself took place.
The amazing experience was provided by two bands in different styles with live music, refreshing white bar on sitewhere the bartenders were tossing bottles in the free minutes and making Fleur show and entertaining presenters at the beginning of the eveningand with graffiti a special picture is painted reflecting Dinner in White in Sofia.
Gifts from the organizers were given to all the children, and the three most beautifully arranged tables were awarded with a prize and a gift, kindly provided by the sponsors of the event – Anna de Codorníu and Societe Generale Expressbank.
The ideology of “Sophisticated Urban Picnic in the Open Air” was born 30 years ago. in Paris, and today dozens of countries and cities are its followers and convey its message of: friendship, sharing, escape from everyday life and bringing mystique to the modern world!
The spirit and energy of the event could be felt through the details of all the participants – from the white lace on the clothes to the exquisite white trousers of the men and the pearls and feathers on the tables, accessories such as angel wings, white bombs, vases of flowers and even white dogs, small children and babies dressed in white.
A magic among the twinkling lights of the gazebo in the park, in which Australians, French and Bulgarians even from Chicago took part and together they started the challenge to launch the idea of a sophisticated urban picnic in Bulgaria.
The event ended according to an old custom with a Bengal fire, which was presented to the participants by the organizers. Lots of positive emotions, smiles, new acquaintances and dancing in the park created White Dinner for the participants in Bulgaria who are looking forward to the next White Dinner.
